SITE UPDATE-15.0

CLICK HERE to go back to the past changes "2013 MONTHS" menu.
V.15.0- This is good sized update. Enough to get it to 15.
Here's what I did:
  • I added the new Newsletter!
    • The only thing I added was the sign up links.
      • It's in the menu under "MAIN STUFF".
      • And in the side bar and bottom bar.
  • I did some inner workings changes.
    • I compact some more extra codes into the copyright section at the bottom of the sites. I got rid of the extra gaps that are formed from the codes. Like at the bottom of the main site.
    • While I was in the inner workings, I refined the menus code.
      • I went through and cleaned and then spaced everything out.
        • So I can see each section and it's not all mixed together.
  • I made the widths of the Site Changes, Update Blogs, and Free Rider sites even smaller.
    • They were fitting in my laptops screen and that's the width I go for.
  • I updated the site map.
    • It was a little out-of-date.
    • While I was at it, I went through and to out all the pictures and videos. So now it's mostly links.
      • It looks better.
  • As a fun little thing, on both marquees there's a ? button in the marquees buttons.
    • Click it. :-)
  • Changed the site update tracker on the main site from "Time since last update" to " Time since last site update".
    • But this was only on the main site.
  • I expanded the comments. I added the Facebook and Disqus comments to the Site ChangesUpdate Blogs, and Free Rider sites.
    • Along with a note on the FB comments that states the issue of comments show everywhere because the section is on the same URL.
  • The Music page and section in the menu had a comeback.
    • The site I used stop support for embedded players.
    • Well, now it works again. So, I added it all back.
  • And like always, there's even more testing on the Test Site.
  • And lastly, I'm in the process of doing a massive back up of all my sites.
    • I go to every code, every element, and copy the HTML codes or Javascript and put them into a Google Doc to be stored on the web for me to access anywhere.
      • Then, just in case, I download them to my external HDD.
Well, that it for this update. I know I didn't forget anything this time because I made a list and keep track of what I did.
See, I'm learning and taking new steps.
